Interface Insight
The user interaction was structured around the steering wheel’s unique dial controls, reinforcing the modular aspect of design. Our guiding light was the idea, “everyone has their favorite seat” and how you feel a sense of comfort dependent on where you sit. From the right arm rest to the barstool next to the wall, each seat has a place and a context.

Throughout the design stage, we referenced various video game controllers and the recent innovations the industry has been making towards accessibility. Our expectations were to create a similar navigation system to the iPod but we later pivoted towards a passenger focus. I personally reflected on my own experiences being in the passenger seat with my mom on errand runs, switching radio stations and making grocery trips.
